But I personally use a Casio style case/band on my 5 and it’s rugged af for only like $20

What do you need
I use the exercise app for lifting so I can tell you a bit what features it’s got
I need gps to map my runs, lap pacing for my workouts and long runs. Oxygen, effort, recovery stuff and if possible to have workout examples
GPS: yep, lap pacing: not sure but I have a strong feeling they have something like that, seems basic enough, look into it yourself, oxygen: Apple Watch imo has some of the best sensors out there for oxygen/heart rate

As for workout examples you prob again need to find some third party app, the Apple exercise app just has a bunch of vague exercise types like “strength training”, indoor/outdoor walk, outdoor jog, outdoor run, cardio, etc
I think you’ll personally really like it
Idk how Fitbit is but I love how integrated the Spotify app is to the workout app on Apple watch
We’ll see I want a Garmin just to fit with the running club 
I can easily seek songs without going to the Spotify app itself
Ah i don’t listen to music while running. I do like tunes while lifting though
another really good feature of the AW imo is the periodic “standup” notification
So if you’re sitting down working for like an hour it reminds you stand and get some blood flowing to your legs
Do some stretches for a bit before going back to work etc

Leaning back a lil is fine as long as you maintain the position
If you’re leaning mid lift that’s a sign your weight is too high

like you start straight then as you pull down you lean back

I started going more hard on back / shoulders with my ppl routine and noticed results pretty quickly

I think for me I really just need to eat more I’m like 5’9 140 rn, goal is like 155-160

my workout programming has been very smart as well, in general 4 meals a day
sometimes ill eat an extra meal sometimes only 3 depends on whats going on
when im really busy at work i tend to eat 2-3 meals
Do you take creatine or any supplements other than protein?
just creatine and a multi vitamin, no peds

I was doing some high to lo cable flys and i put too much pressure on my shoulders and now they hurt
A shoulder injury was the last straw that made me pivot towards running
that sounds brutal
I think I’m fine though
the pains gone now
but it was like a sharp pain for 5 minutes
Idk what i injured but it didn't heal itself. I even got blood plasma injections to help it heal
i was out for a month because shoulder and knee
wasnt a workout injury tho I fell down the stairs

i feel like there are other body parts you should be working out harder than trying to get "bigger wrists"
1 wrist curl and 1 hammer curl a week along with static holds from hitting back and deadlifts should be enough
Wrist size matters for certain sports but didn’t know people cared much about size outside of that
the test shown in that video might as well be a is your hand bigger than your face test
I can skinny forearms and wrists. I feel like if i punch a boxing bag it will break
doesnt account for hand or finger length + BF % + where on the wrist you actually do it

I tried incline bicep curls today
they go crazy
I’m about to replace concentration curls with those
My biceps are burning from that
I do standing hammer curls and sitting bicep curls
I do hammer curls too at the very end to work my brachialis
I’m gonna switch to incline curls for long head and preacher curl machine for short
Wait what are incline curls
I know regular bicep curls do bicep, reverse curls do forearm and hammer does both
It’s bicep curls but you incline the bench
Alright quick tip when you're doing incline curls, don’t let your elbows drift forward cuz this causes your forearms to point straight up at the top which creates no tension on the bicep due to gravity. Instead roll your shoulders back and keep your elbows locked in place while dragging the weight up towards your armpit.

I do standing hammer curl, regular db curl sitting on incline bench, cable tricep pushdown, db tricep extension
And for shoulders I do lateral raises and face pulls
Ye I do a lot to that too but I need to go to gym more consistently
Also I need to bulk harder
How many days a week
Gotta go at least 3
Ideally 4-5
5-6 if you wanna go beast mode
I do PPL, rest, repeat
So it’s 5-6 days
Depending on how it lines up

My weight fluctuates but I can DEF see an increase in muscle mass from when I started
PPL is legit
And mine is 5-6x not even the rigid one
If you prefer a more consistent schedule go for his where you do PPL twice then rest
But if you want a lil more rest you can do mine
