In what case would it be worth it

#

I’m interested

imo yes, because there's 0 consequences if you do it and decide to drop or fail it since its free, the bar is ludicrously low (60% passing score w/ 10% extra credit just for attending the sessions), access to codepath career resources etc

they have a private career fair at the end

but on the other hand you could just practice leetcode on your own...

with good companies

#

I think most poeple do it for the career fair

^^^

#

they do have p decent teachers and also a variety of courses that come with a certificate at the end

#

for me it was a good way to motivate myself to leetcode by making it part of my routine

Interesting

#

Did it significantly increase your leetcode ability?

#

it's one of those things where you get what you put into it tbh

#

the only thing that's gonna increase your LC skills at the end of the day is gonna be LC

#

this just provides structure + lessons/teaching for people that don't have as much organization or have never touched LC before/don't know how to start

#

although they do have different tracks ranging from beginner to intermediate to advanced

How do they determine where to put you

Hackerrank at the beginning

How in depth are the lessons? Do they just go over shit like grokking or they actually teach advanced stuff
Bc grokking teaches patterns but like it’s so common now everyone knows it

#

I guess it wouldn’t hurt to sign up and quit if I feel it’s not helping me
I’ll apply cuz why not

feral badge
#

yeah that's basically my mindset

#

the advanced track actually seems p decent (Greedy algos, DP, graph theory like djikstra's etc)

I don’t think all them will show up
