Someone got 100% but still got rejected for final round. I think they resume review after OA.
not to be rude, but 725 isn't high
also apparently cap one care more about resume than codesignal
Ye it isn’t too high but I’ve seen ppl get accepted with worse
That’s why I mentioned it, and it might help someone get an idea of their own score
yeah consider it a resume reject then
@verbal bay someone posted here they still got to final with around the same score. I think the resume review matters more.
i can review yours if you want
I think college also matters to Capital One, so if you don't go to a target college then you can get rejected too.
There's a lot of rng involved tbh
@lucid falcon codesignal is usually just a screen to get to resume review
After the cutoff i don't think score mayyers
yeee so i've heard
idk what's wrong with my resume tho tbh, i feel like it's really solid and i can't rly think of many ways to improve it, aside from getting some kinda data metrics which my company doesn't track or do
so i'd have to just make it up or guess
It's also just rng sometimes
What can you do
:/
🤷♂️
Data metrics unnecessary, Capital One kept rejecting me each year even after I got a FAANG.
lol wtf
yeah, there's rng involved
i got "referred" to a recruiter by someone who turned down their offer in favor of full time
I got a referral last year and that's the only way I got a interview with Capital One. Otherwise they just reject me.
the recruiter asked if he had ppl he knew looking for swe internships, so i got the email that way
I got referred to Square, got an 810 on codesignal and still got rejected 😔
It's outta your hands 🤷♂️
Fr tho
I've literally applied to more places than i can count, i think over 100 by now
i think application->OA rate so far is like, 5-7%
never gotten past an OA before
Ya it's tough out there
The longer i do this the more i wanna just stick to my gas station salary local internship this summer lmfao
you'd think having a previous internship would make my chances better at landing something this summer
😂
feels like it isn't doing anything at all
Yea it definitely does
People even have better chances with unpaid internship vs none
it helps, but you gotta cast a wide net
especially if your university doesn't provide the job network that the bigger ones provide
I got rejected at databricks and ghosted at netflix after 846
same but 845 ^
