#Bloomberg questions

Thanks for creating a thread
But I also heard it’s possible to fail the sr manager round
I was scouring blind and was so confused
Some people were asked sys design and other people weren’t
A lot of if's
If you're in the US and you're a new-grad then they won't ask you for a sys design question
for london and other offices, it's rough out there for my homies
some guy here got really unlucky and got a sr manager who didn't give a fuck and was like 20min late and during the interview was talking with some contractor in his house
Lmao that sounds like a nightmare
Honestly just goes to show that it's all rng
your interviewer, your questions, your offer/rejection
I heard some guy’s interviewer was evicted in the middle of it
Is Bloomberg ok?
but as a norm, the EM round is typically not a coding round. It'll be talking about implementation of a piece of code, your projects etc
BB isn't the most tech savvy place imo but WLB is fantastic there
from all the info I've gathered anyway
Yeah, I can’t believe their hiring bar is all over the place
Or maybe you’re just too goated and good at LC
which is why you thought your technicals were easy
praying I also get easier questions 😭
so much less stressful when you already have an idea of how to solve something / have seen the q before
Do all the tagged
i did all except a most of the hards in top 50
also some from top 50-100, as well as just general lc
you think that's enough for phone at least? if I move on i think ill try for top 100
i did most of top 50, gonna finish the rest before my interview next week
also going through leetcode discuss and doing some of the bloomberg questions on there
Bloomberg really busy atm or are they full for new grads 2022? It's taking forever to get a confirmed interview date for eng manager round after hr asked for some timeslots. Got asked for timeslots by HR first thing in the morning on Jan 3.
How well do you think you did on the interview
I think I did pretty well on the technical and HR round tbh. Haven't had the engineering manger round yet tho. Gave some timeslots to HR but no response yet
It’s probably just your individual recruiter being swamped then! Don’t worry about it
just curios do they call you via your phone? cause Im in another country compared to where I actually applied to
they have their own in-house video conferencing tool they use
nexti or something like that
Oh so the “phone” interview you need a webcam for or no?
phone interview, they call you on your phone and you do a hackerrank together
Sounds good, thanks
have mine in 2hrs, nervous but I spent a good amount of time prepping so if it doesnt go well at least I tried my best lol
thanks! good luck to you too : ), still got lots of time to prep
