My advice is pretty generic haha but grind LC! Start from Blind75 (skip all the bit ones) and focus on recognizing patterns in problems. This is super important because I used to be super nervous and relied on memorization but recognizing patterns allow you to be confident in tackling any new problems or even old problems that you don't remember exactly how to do. Continue to do problems in categories that you are not as comfortable in (for me that was trees). I did around 296 problems in total.

Google is a bit different! Their onsite questions were technically easier than TikTok's but the engineers went a lot more in depth and want you to solve the problem in many different ways as well as how you would approach the problem with a slight twist.

I did take a few courses during my time at my uni, like CS 229, and a few others but I don’t remember to much concepts

Yea! for ML, most questions I got were to explain my ML experience in depth. Asked why I chose certain models, optimizers, losses, draw out my encoders/decoders structure. I also got asked like ML problems and what models I would choose. Also be familiar with the big concepts, SVD, KNN, random forest, etc.

They asked me NLP specific questions because I was interviewing for a ML position on search.

ahhh biggest advice is just to be confident! I fucked up a lot of my earlier interviews from being nervous :|
