Honestly speaking I think vibing with your interviewers is just as important
there might have been some type of tone or way you said something that pushed them off or there was just more competitive candidates sorry dude, lots more opportunities keep on chugging
If I were you, I would email some recruiters from the other hedgefunds
and be like hey I have citadel final, really interested in working here, any way I could get help with getting an interview?
don't have to tell them you got rejected but it can be a really easy way to slip into the system at other firms
hope this helps and hope you get placed somewhere else as well. Take care dude, maybe take a breather and get off discord for a bit I'm sure it feels shitty.
Hm, good idea, thanks for the advice
yeah no worries, dm me I can set you up with some recruiter emails.
Citadel does team matching before giving you an offer - it could also be that
My rejection said I did well on interviews but there’s not enough spots (after phone). My friend finished her final and they told her they’re team matching rn but no team was interested atm so she took an alternative offer
Wait I’m trolling I thought this was for new grad
how i heard it works is that if one interviewer didn't like you it's over
all 5-6 of your interviewers must give a yes or something
