Do you mind me asking how your phone interview went?

Congrats!! How long after phone did you hear back?

Phone interview was 30 minutes.
It happened on the 10th of august.
The interviewer asked behavioral questions such as:

  • "whats a time that you've over come difficulties with team communication"
  • "Whats your favorite microsoft product and how would you improve it"
    And Technical questions such as:
  • "Explain recursion to me as simply as possible"
  • "Whats the difference between a process and a thread"

And then at the end he said I did great and he'd be recommending me to move forwards.

The recruiter was on vacation for the next 10 days so I didn't hear back from her until the 19th.
She said scheduling would start on the 20th and she would add me into the program as a candidate with a competing offer deadline.

The scheduler emailed me this morning and asked me to pick a day before my deadline but to otherwise pick 3-5 different days of availability after the 27th.

I picked the 26th and 27th.

They scheduled me for the 27th.

You are not caught up.

Literally only 1 real coding question.
It’s was a variation of two sum
The other interviews were an oop question, a system design question, and just a chat with the hiring manager about teams I'd wanna join if I was hired and other behavioral stuff

It felt... too easy
