#nutanix vs amazon intern

option 1: nutanix swe intern in san jose, a cloud product team

  • pros: in the bay so no relocation, work seems more interesting
  • cons: heard lower RO rate than amazon

option 2: amazon sde intern in seattle, amazon stores (sdm said they work on internal llm stuff)

  • pros: better brand name
  • cons: relocation, heard that only aws is worth?

couldnt push amazon to fall, had to accept since they didnt respond until after deadline so i have both offers accept atm

pay is ~same ($60), both 12 weeks
mainly care about RO, quality of work, and name

leaning towards nutanix because dont need to relocate if get RO, with amazon if RO would most likely be in seattle and dont wanna do FT there so would have to apply NG still but with better brand name on resume

also if anyone has experience interning with nutanix, would love to ask abt it!

can someone give reasoning, i mainly want to stay in the bay for FT work, but in what ways is amazon better? like is the name that much better for NG?

what about the work that amazon stores does? lowkey dont rly know much abt it, like is it the amazon website u buy stuff on
