#New Grad Startup Help!

Format is kinda weird, like the font for the company name in experience is massive. Latest experience just says “Present” but no start date. No need to include dates for projects. Bullets are pretty good, but I think you could expand on your DoD research (just like a couple more bullets) - seems like you have the space
Yeah sorry I was looking at your website lol
I didn't watch it all the way through but I think it's a good idea if you're targeting startups. Shows some personality
Maybe I should shorten them they’re kinda long
Yeah probably target 60s, since most people would click off after that anyways
You think overall though I have a shot though
I have no idea what the bar is for working at a startup
Also this is my website for other people who want to critique
Yeah I mean you just need one company and startups are usually more flexible in hiring. Like all you need is to show your value
I have no idea what I’m doing
Bro 😂
Yep lmk if you land one, looking to do something similar post grad
My strategy is going to be to research each company deeply and make a custom demo of a cool feature on top of their product
Then record a video and cold email / dm
I think like you said, I think startups just care if you can provide value
And I think a demonstration of you literally providing value shows that
Several points that are vague
For example, "optimization" that sped up 48x but what was it
Like it could be deleting dead code that runs for no reason vs rewriting the algorithm from scratch
Other examples: "two week push," "user-reported bugs"
Several points about responding to feedback/users but it's similarly pretty vague
This stuff is harder to explain in a resume tho
You’re right I need to explain that better
