yea your application stays in their portal and when someone needs a particular skill they search that in the portal and you get int
its hella nepo bsed
Apple is mad gameable just cold email
is this for is&t?
Yes
Just got interview scheduled, anyone have any info about what it’s like? Is it just lc cause then I’m fucked lmao
That’s what I’ve been trying to find out
My interviews are for an ios dev intern role but they didn’t specially say if the technical is swift or normal lc
And obviously every interview is team dependent so you just gotta prep for everything
They sent you a coderpad link too?
I got email from recruiter about that the team is looking for after it got scheduled. Like she said you should know Python, os concepts, etc.. so ig that kind of gives me sort of an idea of the technical
you probably got an email as well
Yeah I got two interview rounds, one with a coderpad and another without one, both 45 min
Haven’t gotten anything like this though
oh shi same
I got second tech invite 6 days after my last tech
recruiter confirmed it's also a tech but no coderpad link
idk I thought my tech was mid at best
but the recruiter email said it went well and they want one more...
maybe that's just recruiter talk
i guess they really want you
with how specific they are with they're reqs maybe you're their only candidate or something
gl on your next one
also for this tech, did you only do a coding problem
or did they spend time on other stuff like domain knowledge and resume grilling
only coding
what do you mean but this?
specific they are with they're reqs
i meant like apple hires differently from other big tech companies, so instead of a general hiring process -> teammatch, they have the teams themselves conduct the hiring process directly
this means that teams are looking for very specific work experiences and technologies in the candidate pool (and as a result the interview processes vary a lot between teams)
so if they still want you, i'd guess that means they couldn't find many candidates that fit what they wanted
or you did better than you thought
oh idk somehow I misread what you said earlier 😭
are they back to back?
