Hey everyone, I’m deciding between these two internships and would really appreciate advice. Im a masters student so I think Im primarily concerned with return offer rates (and full time pay) and res value for ng recruiting.

Capital One (TIP)

McLean, VA
Higher intern pay + corporate housing
Strong TDP conversion pipeline historically
Team assigned later
Full-time comp is solid

Visa

$45/hr
Foster City (Data & AI Platform team)
Working with Kubernetes / infra
Team known and technically strong
RO last year reportedly ~80%

Visa's work seems pretty interesting. Working directly on infra and/or agentic ai work. Capital one seems good too but I wont know the team until a week before the internship starts which is pretty late.
