#intuit offer

I heard back within the hour that I got it, I did this morning
at least from my experience, I might have gotten lucky, but I heard back within the hour for all the stages with uptime crew as well
@frozen parrot do you need sponsorship? did you have to fill out an immigration form right before final
DM if you dont want to answer publicly
i think everyone has to sign the immigration form before final, whether you are immigrant or not
ok because i noticed the form had nothing to signify US citizen
Congrats! How long did the entire process take for you?
any tips on build challenge?
@frozen parrot Hey congratulations!! i sent you a message
congrats! What was the 1:1 tech screen and final interview like?
ill answer the dms here, but all the rounds are pretty straight forward, the only issue I had was build challenge wasn't being sent to me, but I got that resolved a while ago. As for the tech round, pretty simple, as long as you actually know what you built you should be fine. And for the final, someone else mentioned it but you are show casing a project you did, also pretty straight forward if you know what you did.
Hey, the recruiter just sent me information about the team and had a call with 1 of the HM, but I didn't receive the offer yet? Is that what you received as well?
How soon after final did you hear back
1 week approximately
im at the stage before that, recruiter called and said congrats you have the offer and she will be setting up a team meeting soon. So you might be ahead of me
I didn't ever receive any call 🥲 lol I didn't know if I actually got it
Strange times
I thought you had 1 call with hm?
Yeah i thought offer is after the HM round
you probably got it ngl
what r the chances they reject u on project showcase round?
@frozen parrot Hi just saw this thread. Congrats on the offer! Got an email for Uptime Crew. How was the OA experience for you? I'm really worried about it at the moment.
It’s pretty challenging ngl
Glassdoor and Reddit has some good advice
hi! @frozen parrot after you got the portal update for final interview, how long did it take for an intuit recruiter to reach out?
also, would you say tech screen or the final interview is more difficult ?
2 days and it was because i finished it on a weekend
hmm about the same i would say, i believe the hardest round for intuit is actually the oa prolly
Do they ask any LC in past the OA?
no
How does the final interview look like?
How much time did it take for you to move from recruiter screento build challenge?
a few hours
@frozen parrot also, was just curious did they let you pick a locaiton?
yea
you can pick anywhere, they have head count in all location right now I think
@frozen parrot I have my final round tomorrow any tips and advice on presentation?
I don't really have any good advice, just know your project and u should be golden. As in you actually made it (even if you used AI, you should know the ins and outs). they'll prolly asked about tradeoffs, and AI integration if applicable.
Perfect that’s fine with me but do u need to demo it?
Or just explain it in a thorough STAR process
no, if its a intern project you can't even show code because it confidential, just have slides and maybe a diagram of what you built
if it is a personal project, im not sure
can i dm?
sure
@frozen parrot How long did it take you to hear back after the tech screen?
@frozen parrot did u get ur offer in email like after team matching or did rec call
signed offer email after call with manager on team
gotcha how long after
1 day he said he had to send info to
my recruiter first
is ur rec elena btw?
dm me for more specific names
Hey @frozen parrot
You are the only person who got the offer before team matching
Any idea why
I miss typed, I got a verbal offer, but I also have a signed written offer after the team match interview as well. Usually tho, candidates aren't rejected in team matching from what I heard from a employee there. You would just move on to a new team if it doesn't work out, it shouldn't be as rigorous as something like google. Or at least I hope.
also if you did the final late on a friday, they probably get back to you on monday
Ahh ok
And what does this whole timeline look like after final? How many days after did you get the recruiter call? How many days for team matching, etc.
i did my final pretty early in the day and early in the week. Only a couple hours later the recruiter called me saying i got the offer but really meant i passed the final. They will ask you for preferred location, according to one of the interviewers they are recruiting hundreds of people around this time at all locations. After that they set up a team matching interview the next day, but there were conflicts of their side so it was delayed a bit. After the team matching interview i was sent the written offer letter the next week monday.
How was the team matching round for you? Was it too grilling?
nah very chill, like literally just told them my past experience and 70% of it was me asking questions about what they do
I wasn't picky on which team I got so I just told them at the end I would like to join their team. Can't be picky in this job market, at least for me
Yeah makes sense! And what would you say is the likelihood of getting team matched? After you clear the finals
Not too sure, recruiter said they are pushing for mtv location but places like nyc are the fastest growing based on head count as well, at least when I was in team matching.
I think as long as you are not to picky on what team and just care about location you should be fine, I told them one location but was open to all the others tbh
When did you team match? Do you remember roughly?
I think 1 - 2 weeks ago, I don't remember the exact date
Ahh so not that long ago. I hope they still have spots ;_; I will be giving my final next week
im sure your fine, they hiring a lot a lot, although their could be a possiblity that certain locations are filled. I think for the most part if your fine with any of the hubs it should be good. And all of them are pretty nice tbh, mtv being the largest campus right next to google (phyiscally next to it, across the street).
Would you say I should be pushing for MTV (want it badly) or should I subtly signal that I am open to other locations as well?
I have no offers btw
its fine to say you want mtv, if you do pass the final interview, your recruiter should tell you the location with available headcount, and considering mtv has the biggest space and headcount, im sure their is space still
Thank you for answering everything!
np
When is your start date @frozen parrot and did they give you any options?
Is this a rejection? I don’t think so but I wanna confirm. I had my team match meeting on Friday and it went well and I followed up with the recruiter no response but expected since offer takes 2-3 business days or so
Is it just surveys they send to everyone who completed the loop?
I got that too but a offer letter a few hours later on the same day. But it could be different for everyone, are you a new grad?
also did you go through the uptime crew interviews?
I also completed the tm call today and got the survey within 3 hours, might be automated
Yeah
Nvm
I got a offer call for tomorrow
I think
nice. I only asked because mine said software engineer 1 - uptime partnership position
