Early career, so new grad
I got OA Early December,
1st round one interview end of december, other one early january
2nd round onsite Feb 4th
Third interview Mar 2nd
not bad at all
you have a lot of time for two chill problems, just make sure you have clean code
I see. I have been cramming LC but I wonder if I should just take sooner rather than later.
def take it soon, idt u need to grind out LC too hard for OA
How would you say you are with leetcode? To get to R2, I am curious what the standard is for early career
I’m good but I can definitely be better, I have like 350 solved and I grinded ~200 overall throughout this process, but I’d recommend really building on foundations
NC150 probably best bet
I also had winter break to grind
Ah okay, I am trying to focus on NC150. I have most of the easies done and working through mediums.
Assuming I pass OA i think it’s plenty of time to grind, i’m trying to do like 5 a day
I have plenty of time at work to just do leetcode lmao i did it all day yesterday
yeah def, I think you can do NC150 and if u finish maybe run through some recent tagged
Does tagged problems bot still work?
Last I saw it was broken
Might just buy a month of LC premium
Oh also any areas you’d recommend? Not necessarily asking you to reveal interview info, but you say foundations and I wonder how far that goes. For example i’m shit with sorting algos
i think lc was bugged a few days ago
i’d recommend this but you don’t need it, I didn’t really use editorial as much mostly just asked gemini. But the tagged is nice to have
So I think you should go through 150, see what you’re good with see what you’re lacking and grind out similar problems wherever you’re lacking. I have a notes doc where I wrote down notes for every problem I did to revisit in the future in case I needed to see how I did it
I think this is accurate
Oh okay here we go, the bot is working
idk if u need to do this but I like having my own old solution listed and summarized in my own words rather than just reading editorial
also watch neetcodes videos if u wanna build foundation on a skill
How do you feel about math problems and more of the “trick” kind of stuff, as well as bit manipulation
I’m like naturally decent with bit manipulation, but a lot of the tricks they use in high level problems are super gimmicky
I didn’t really prep for them, I don’t see a point in it for google where they’re looking for thought process too
Def take a look but don’t spend too much time on it imo
Oh I didn’t know Google does a third interview
if hc can't give a conclusive judgment after 2 rounds they can order a third round
Ah I see thanks. Is round 3 just 1 technical
1 or 2 depending on circumstances but it's all tech
yea i had 1 tech
im just not sure how influential this last interview is compared to the other ones
cuz it went well but hard to tell w google
is hc hiring coordinators?
what
hiring committee
o ok thanks
yeah i'm in tm now
@rustic geode did you hear back from round 3?
