i'd put the skills at the bottom, and your bullet points aren't very good. you want to be concise about what you did, how you did it, and what the tangible outcome was
for example, you say you sustained 10k+ requests with 99.95% uptime, but was this something you did by yourself? i think it's evident the whole team contributed to this, so it's a "meh" bullet point in the eyes of a recruiter. what are precise instances where you contributed towards that goal? if you can't answer this question about every bullet point, then you're probably better off leaving out
another thing, try to keep every exp to 4ish bullet points, keep only the most impactful ones
other than that u have a solid resume 🫡
Alright , Ill try doing that , I heard somewhere that keeping the bullet points on top was the way to go
So it should be School >Experience > Project > Skills
I can try and define my impact with the team more definitely
Keeping my bulletpoints shorter and more concise , i usually try to ATS match for every role
Hopefully the ordering fix and the impact i had in achieving each point and condensing them helps recruiters understand the profile a bit more
One thing i was wondering is if i should add a leadership and extracurricular section at the bottom after the skills , now that i have reduce the number of points in the resume and freed up space , I can add my Graduate Assistant role and part of the Public Speaking club roles there
that would be good, you'll have some space after deleting 2-3 bulletpoints, and shortening others
i think it's neat that you have 2 years of exp too, you are already way ahead most people tbh. if you weren't a new grad you'd have better luck putting it at the very top.
after you fix ur resume feel free to tag me if you want
@lunar flower Hey man thanks for the quick replies , I did some major changes right now through gemini to get a taste of what i would get when i modify the thing for every job here it is , i couldnt really fit in the public speaking club but i feel like the graduate assistant thing is good enough for it
ngl structually it looks much better
