just got an offer as a SWE at mercor applied AI team.

Base 150k + 20k relocation bonus + high levels of performance bonus + high equity

I am gonna take the offer anyway because I don’t have a choice, the market sucks, i’m on F1 visa and need to start ASAP.

But I am potentially expecting an Amazon RO for data engineering in seattle (haven’t gotten it yet). and am in early stages in the process for Google + Uber.

My questions are:

Should I cancel and withdraw my google and uber apps? or keep them going as a plan B or something? thoughts? Didn’t love data engineering so I like this better than zon already but what am I missing? what’s mercor’s reputation like?

Always keep interview cycles unless you know for sure you are going to take the current over others

Theres plenty of ppl who switch jobs after a few months so you could always do that if you decide to take google/uber considering how long google's proccess takes for ex
