do yk if ibm pushes to fall
woah wait i thought you were talking about fall nvm
recruiter initials?
moved to internal role
i have same
dont got one
i mean NS probably is that
that would be weird to be put on the role name
What would NS stand for then?
you got it
got ns too, lmk
Im checking my int sched thing on my iphone, I can see like 5 peopel invited
I assumed one of them is the recruiter tho
same
i looked at mine
they're all like hr/talent acquisition
except 1
which i tihnk is my interviewere
when is your int?
i had one for spring
just behavioral
and it seems like this one is 30 mins long so prob same thing
was that the only interview?
Aint no way
yeah. their process kinda cooked
but they might have a technical or hm behavioral after
nah, I got my int pretty late so head counted
IBM ramping up hiring so
we're pretty early in the proc
rip sry
hopefully you get this
yea that's what i heard
they said somethoing about like 3x amount of hiring this year
wait what state is your interviewer in?
wait how do you know you got headcounted did u ever get a response?
What does NS mean?
i mean my interview was right before winter break and people had 2-3 weeks prior
spring starts right after so
no clue
I think canada
national security maybe?
the form asked about government stuff
maybe that's standard tho
it's standard
@old elbow dd u get ghosted or rejected?
mine also thursday, 30m. there's no way it's just this one interview right
wait yeah i was gonna say why are they all costa rica
Yup all the IBM recruiters I’ve been in talks with are from Costa Rica
Just off shoring stuff
is it rly just one 30min interview?
also r u guys us or ca
us
Ur Canada?
nah, also US
check your spam
NS?
are y'alls interviewers offshore too
i have 4 costa rican hr people and the technical dude is french
❓❓❓
I think we got the same guy
They usually just have people from different parts of IBM to interview then forward it
So I'm assuming 2nd int (if there is) just hm int
i think 92117
my technical person is in new york
mine is north carolina
anyone have 92114 as job ID?
what's the intials at the end of that one
SR... I don't know what that means...
yes
seems roundabout to get a dude from france but alright i guess 💀
Got availability email rn
site reliability...?
no clue LOL
just coming up with random things
Do any of u know ur location ??
nope
did you all got interview scheduled? I only received candidate info form a few days ago...
i got that form 2 days ago
you should be chilling
same, did you receive next step?
yea a couple hours ago
lol i guess i am cooked then
Nah ur chilling the proc just started
^
are y’all’s interview 60 mins
does that form means an interview guarantee?
mine is 30
i think if u get the government form
is it for NS or SR
NS
oh shi
are you ns?
i’m also ns but mines 60
lmao
id rather just do 1 60min if that's all there is
rather than do 30
and then wait to get another scheudled
yeah their hr is super slow
crazy
hopefully they hire hella tho
seems like a lot of people are interviewing rn 😭
ya i heard someone here say ibm ramping up hiring 3x
yessir we got this
that's wack
I saw this under the notes thing for the meeting (I have a 30 minute interview):
We’re excited to move forward with your interview process. The team will focus primarily on your technical expertise. You can expect questions related to programming fundamentals, problem-solving approaches, and your understanding of key concepts in your preferred language or technologies.
To prepare, we recommend reviewing core technical fundamentals, practicing basic algorithms or coding challenges, and revisiting any academic or personal projects that showcase your skills and how you approach technical tasks.
You can also expect questions about behavioral aspects, giving the team the opportunity to understand how you work, collaborate, and approach real-life situations. You can expect questions that explore your experiences with teamwork, communication, learning agility, ownership, and how you handle challenges or uncertainty.
Wishing you the best of luck — you’ve got this!

Where did you find the notes?
it's on the invite thing
had to look from my phone though
weird
my notes only show the link to the interview
yeah Im surprised I had something in my note because last time I didnt
lowkey just left in the dark with this it seems
30 mins is so little yet they're basically saying they will test you on literally anything LOL
yep
this is on mine as well, idk how theyre gonna go through all of that in 30min lol
mine is 60 for NS
huh mine is 30 for NS 💀
naw
mines 30 min for NS
guess yall just aura candidates
Did yall do a OA for this role
Yea I did but if you did summer oa then they reuse it im pretty sure
yea i did an oa for a position a while ago
not for this tho
i had to do a hirevue and an oa, is that standard?
i wonder if those who do hirevue have a 30 min int whereas those who didn't get a 1 hour
I didnt do a hirevue tho
how can so many of us get fall procs, are they rly hiring this many
They said they are 3x hiring procs but fall offers tend to be given out to existing summer peeps
so might not be that many
anyone do the interview yet
Yeah
The interview for me was on three things:
Problem Solving, Programming Practices, Software Develoment
They are trying to gauge your thought process such as: how you debug the code etc, what you do after debugging, how do you create maintainable code, and what you do to develop software overall etc
Kinda free flow it
this is true
i just had mine and it was different
just standard behavioral questions and a few things about cs fundamentals
@old elbow @jagged topaz u guys know if theres another interview?
no clue
how long your interview is?
plz provide updates yall if you get something back after r1 🙏
30
did yall ask what "NS" stands for
completely went over my head
i just asked my interviewer has no clue
any of yall able to push summer to fall for ibm?
they will prob rescind your offer if you ask
