Cold emailing or dming on linkedin once is fine but following up multiple times is rude. Hes been emailing her for nearly a month atp its just spam. I wasnt even trying to flame him i was more so shocked bc i think he lacks social cues

doing reachouts to trigger a proc isnt unnatural, and doing multiple follow ups to ensure the app is highlighted is not crazy either esp if its a healthy numer of follow ups

this works on both sides, recruiters will also follow up multiple times if they want the candidate

dont wanna use this as a generalized case, but i personally dont find offense at follow ups simply because i forget to reply. cold emailing is just a natural part of biz, done by everyone if you want something

@solar violet feel free to dm if you want help with cold emailing, and just cause it didnt work for uber doesnt mean this holds for all companies. got my first internship at a series D startup from a cold email that i spammed as well
