New grad Leadership experience?

Is it better to include leadership experience on your resume or add one more technical project instead? Do companies (recruiters, ats) care about leadership experiences?

I think leadership is probably fairly important as it shows off a whole new side of you that the technical projects cant.

While companies will obviously want to see technical skills they also want to find a driven person that can work well in an organization or team. Adding more technical projects doesnt show that
