#Akuna Capital vs Nvidia vs Nokia vs Snowflake vs Esri vs ICE

with akuna many say its a dying firm but im not sure of the validity to it
my interviewer with them said they pay less than some of the other firms but the wlb is very chill
and the pay is still better than both snow and nv
snowflake gaps
i think snowflake summer akuna fall or akuna summer snowflake fall
depends on where u wanna end up
can also swap any of these with nvidia
nvidia just has weird titles it could mean anything
knew someone who was software architect and they spent whole summer writing unit tests
akuna + snow would be best for quant recruiting
if u want to go into ai swap either with nvidia
all three do fall i think so ur lucky here
if it's systemc it might be computer architecture which is very cool but isn't applicable to anything outside semiconductors
actually i dont have any options to push the following internships to fall, so whats the best option in that scenario?
solely depends on where u want to go
quant? akuna, ai? nvidia, and snow would honestly be good for both
maybe snow a little less for both ai or quant but
does anyone know the full time pay for the top 3?
akuna is probably highest pay
you should check levels fyi, but from what i know akuna >= snow > nvidia
the highest snow salaries might be equivalent to low to mid akuna salaries
just curious what sort of work would you be doing at nvidia?
actually snowflake has higher salary on levels fyi
about 168kbase, akuna has 150k base
nvidia 145k
chicago is also cheaper than bay
it would mostly simualtion and modelling of gpu's
but akuna and snow is probably equal then
i really wanted to know why akuna has got a very bad reputation for not giving ro's. but from my analysis , i've reviewd more than 40-50 linkedin profiles of peopl who interned at akuna and >=85% ended up doing a full time job there and some who didnt actually ended up with imc or sig. so where does this bad ro rates come from, i even had a meeting with my team lead at akuna and he said they have a good conversion rate.
it might be incorrect. if you have done the research you know more than a lot of people here
the idea comes from the notion that akuna is failing but not sure about the full facts there
NV
I’d say snow and akuna
what ICE are we talking abt gang... 😭
are u MS? bs has lower rate for snow and nvidia
Yep I agree
When i talked to one of akuna swe, they did p good last year, and 4 days remote is possible for dev + very good wlb. Only down side is lower tc but its ~280k ng tc
yeah wlb is good at akuna apparently. outside of cscd i have never heard akuna doing bad as well, if u want quant not a bad option here
not trying to glaze tho i also feel that snow and nv are better
so what did you end up choosing?
can you please connect me with that person from akuna if possible?
im having a hard time connecting with someone who has first hand exp working at the firm
what was the division? base vs bonus?
ICE obviously gng
ICE mogs
akuna is doing terribly
snow or nvda easily
Nvidia
snow ro is ass if u care ab that
what is it
i agree, working at akuna will most definitely get you a better firm next cycle
lol where are you getting this info from
akuna just had a rough year like back in 2022/23 cuz it didnt diversify from crypto
meaning almost all of its portfolio at one point was crypot
there was massive market crash and since they primarily dealt options they suffered significantly more than other participants who were less exposed
akuna has more or less shifted to more risk averse strategies and is significantly more stable now
if youre scared of getting rescinded just sign one of nvda/flake as well for summer and just renege, intern reneg has little impact downstream and nvda has v little to offer atp
nvda ng TC is dookie(170) and the stock upside is v limited atp
probably akuna/nvidia summer snow fall
