Over the last few years, my company's top recruiter billed $1.4m - $1.5m annually and takes home $450k - $500k total comp (IT Recruitment). I think our company's record for a recruiter is just shy of $2m billed in a year (10 year old company with 60 recruiters).
However, if we look at a larger IT Staffing firm like Insight Global or Apex... the sky is the limit. Apex's top recruiter billed almost $6m in 2021
