My first round brute force was n^3, first optimization was n^2, optimal solution was n

I got the logic for the first two pretty fast but my interviewer didn’t let me code either

And only cared about O(n) so idk what the criteria is, idk what kind of rating cause I ultimately didn’t get optimal
