PA is when your start date is further away (> 2 months) and a VP of an org looks at your profile and extends a verbal offer for u to join their org, and u match to teams within the org

at the time of the offer, you only know location and start date, then u match 1 month b4 u start, its guaranteed tho

TM is just direct calling random teams, speed dating shit and those teams extend offer to u directly

uhhh actually i take that back ig. the team i ultimately got matched to was aligned with what i mentioned in the "extra comment" part of the match form. but i got calls from frontend teams (i put that i was the least experienced in frontend on my form)
