Be grateful
WE all flex our offer spread on LinkedIn
To motivate others
Shows that
They can do the same
I saw that too š«©
"I got offers from Microsoft, Databricks, RenTech, Your Mom LLC, Key & Peele, Jeff Bezos himself"
š Translating ->
"I support Benjamin Nethanyahu and Glory to the State of Isreal"
i dont wanna link it tho cause i feel like its just being mean
im just ranting
š
itll find its way to you
Is this the person that got like
11 inreviews
Interviews*
Itās not mean, itās spreading awareness.
Yeah. It was like ~75 apps, 11 interviews, 6 offers (Iām jealous).
Need to get that cracked š¤
It was probs easy for them
Given their prev
Whatās their prev?
Even for Zon, thatās still insane numbers.
Oh was it only zon
yeah its insane numbers for just zon
Maybe Iām shitting on Zon too much, but Amazon doesnāt warrant that conversion rate š
no youre right lol i know plenty of zonners no ones got those numbers
good for him. but pretentious to post that in linkedin (again, perhaps there is more context to it)
90% chance thereās no context because LinkedIn just sucks that bad.
Lowk everyone be a warrior on linkedin
Idk if it always was like this but like
Its weird how much showing off and acting like you are the fucking GOAT gets you so far
I wonder if aura farming warriors exist for other fields too.
Because my entire LinkedIn is SWE, so I donāt know.
Sajjad, baxate, the cluely guys
I dont know if it was like this in the 90s but acting like you know everything about life, showing off with no shame and talking down to people lowk just works for people now to get money and fame
So of course tons of people are gonna do it
True.
Im talking more generally
Linkedin flexing lowk valid
Thats how you get seen by recruiters
I also go to GT, we have a very high density of these weird tech influencers so i see a lot more of the most extreme cases than usual i think
I always wondered how this works. Did anyone find a job via a recruiter 1st contacting you because they saw you in linkedin?
I know some people who did get reached out to via linkedin
So I know it does work for some people
So I mean canāt really even hate, gameās the game
But does it actually land a job? (I get connected by recruiters in linkedin. but most are meh and I ignore)
Idk, never really thought about it too much to be honest. I mean if a lot of people are doing it, maybe it does? I know some people make a whole thing out of being linkedin influencers so theres that I guess
well, would like to hear a 1st hand experience of getting a job from recruiter connecting in linkedin. I can see it may happen but never actually seen one.
yes
itās how i got my current offer
recruiter saw my linkedin during the summer and then sent me an email saying ācame across your linkedin and thought youād be a good fitā blah blah
awesome. did you accept the offer?
yeah too good to pass up for my age
happy for you.
