this is for junior summer. i’ve already signed blackrock so would have to renege. priorities are 1) RO 2) location 3) comp, in that order. i really want to end up on the east coast for NG (nyc/boston/dc). can’t push anything to off-season. unsure if i’ll re-recruit NG lol but definitely want the safety of an RO. idrc about team but i like back-end.

cloudflare
- austin, tx
- $45/hour, cover for airfare up to $400, $3k reimbursement for re-location
- team-matched to “emerging technologies and incubation (ETI)” team
- potentially low RO rate because cf is hiring 1111 interns this year — recruiter didn’t really want to comment on ROs or RO rate
- potentially lower resume val bc of hiring 1111 interns lol
- cf is actually a tech company (would be better for re-recruiting)
- would have to go back to same location for ng (loc switching to nyc is very low according to recruiter)

blackrock
- nyc
- $60/hour, no relocation
- team is “aladdin engineering group”
- have heard of a super high RO rate
- rotational program is pretty established for ng
- all of my friends are in nyc
- possible to loc switch for ng

i'm just very unsure of ng recruiting and want to give myself an option of not re-recruiting again lol
