but like I was doing leetcode consistently for the past 3-4 months so I didnt feel the need to cram
My philosophy is that Ill either get the question or not, and grinding afew days right before wont change the outcome at all whether Ill know how to solve it or not.
Since the only thing grinding problems out helps with is simply memorization

When you first looked at the problems, were you able to spot the pattern right away? How do you get better at recognizing patterns like that?

Many patterns are easy to spot, if you are given a matrix you can think BFS/DFS

if two sorted arrays think two pointer or binary search

#

and if you cant come up with the pattern, just bang your head until something pops out
