#Looking for improvements in resume. Looking for New Grad roles (starting May 2026) on an F1 Visa

Remove the last bullet point from your experience section—it's taking up space without adding value. Cut the irrelevant coursework since recruiters only spend 10-20 seconds on your resume, and you don't want to waste that time on classes that don't directly support the role. If your paper was published, add it to your resume under a Publications section. Also remove Dean's List since your 3.8 GPA is strong enough on its own.
thank you, any tips for the projects section?
also for the paper publication, I thought that its not worth creating space for another section just for one paper so I just linked it in the experience itself
I think a recruiter would rather see a publication than leadership
either way your resume is good enough i think being f1 shouldnt tank your chances of getting a job
also if you dont mind what companies did u land
the internships I don't wanna reveal to avoid doxxing myself lol but the first one is a startup from back home that I did a project for, the AI one was at a research lab at my university and the most recent one was at a mid-size tech company in US and was fully remote
