also if ur a real grinder u could get to E6/E7 at meta faster than DB. I’m not sure if that would net u more money compared to a DB ipo though

E5 -> E6 can be done in a year. I’ve heard of a couple cases and someone in my org did exactly that

but since you don't like the work, i'd explore trying to push meta start date later and doing DB

i think i've generally heard that in early career, ur domain doesn't matter as much

so you can always switch

aren't FT employees allowed to choose what work they want to work on

Meta fast promo is prolly a thing of past in most orgs/teams

The company also grew a lot in the past which resulted in the fast promos

#

You need scope/big enough problems to justify promos and tc

#

Not sure if that will exist for people starting now

past e5 i agree. up until that though i think the scope reqs are small enough that u can still do it esp since it’s expected you reach that terminal level anyways

staff and higher pretty much requirs a team growing fast for u to promo fast
