and theres pathways to quant/hedgefunds too even if you dont have faang or something. If you work for a top IB company, a lot of headhunters are willing to put your resume forward for the specific teams they hire for at citadel This is for non intern, but the advice still applies- theres no one way to land quant so you can and should get creative. SWE at investment banking company -> joining front desk team-> quant is also a viable route. like u just need big names on ur resume to get your foot in the door doesn’t necessarily need to be faang tho
