jumping to MLE @ big tech or niche AI will probably be tough

but current salary doesn't justify choosing MSFT over rivian

i was intern in autonomy and it was generally a mix of younger and older people
also is ur offer for l1 or l2?
autonomy org has higher pay than everything else, especially the closer u get to ml roles
one of the previous interns on my team got ro at 265k and it wasn’t an ml team
but he came in as mid level
my mentor got to staff (i think it’s like 500k) in about 4 years, so high ops for growth
oh and one guy on my team got reached out to by openai and got offer lol
