Currently taking an offer from Databricks, I have an option to push Microsoft to fall (Msft would then be my 7th internship) however I'm not sure if it would be possible to do this since I still have to do school and idk if I'd be able to do it (Have a chance of online classes but not guaranteed)

Again, DB is my 6th internship, MicrosoftAI would be my 7th

I'm already prev big tech

Worried that doing MSFT might be too hard to balance with school (if even possible) but also I don't wanna burn my bridges and chances of a NG offer from MSFT since they might have good WLB (although idk how good MAI WLB is)

Also not sure if doing MSFT in fall would be good, like if balancing work + school interferes with new grad job search then that wouldn't be ideal either.

Thoughts? Also can you give reasoning when you vote

it's near impossible to balance school + work + new grad recruiting. and not worth that extra effort. MAI is good for potentially exiting to top ai labs later on, zero wlb from what i heard. But DB has insane TC for interns with RO (i know someone with 290k TC RO from Databricks) and great exit opportunities later on to FAANG, AI Labs, quants,...

lowkey if your 5th internship is also cracked, u dont need to bother with the 7th+school, but if ur not satisfied with it, do it fall as coop, do databricks summer with online courses since people usually do that

Yo ik msft asks to go back to school post internship, but if you’re in a coop program and you take different internships in fall and winter instead of classes, are you still eligible to return to msft the next summer😭

because co op technically counts as a school term

especially when u get a J1 visa it counts as a fulltime school credit
