hi when did you do superday :p
ive been like panicking about getting offer / confirmed rejection for ages 😭 had superday on 10/29 and havent heard back since
I had mine the 12th of November 🫣
damn i am cooked
Did you email your recruiter yet by any chance ? Like a follow up talking about your status. I’m going to do that some time next week if I don’t hear back by then
wait
have you gotten a call? or are you asking if anyone has
i thought you got call and was jsut asking smth related to it 😭
I haven’t gotten one yet just asking to see if anyone has. Been freaking out😭
oh 😭

i did email recruiter last week, this was response
Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in Engineering.
We apologize for any delays, as we are experiencing higher volumes than usual. We look forward to giving you an update soon.
Please feel free to reference the Candidate Portal for the most up-to-date status on your application. If you have a competing offer deadline, feel free to let us know. We’ll make a note and do our best to give you a timely response
portal still says under consideration so we'll see 🤞
Mhmhmh make sense on why they are taking so long now.
yeah.. we'll see
i wanna get this outta the way this semester bro im so done w/ recruiting 😭
im also waiting on another final round result from another company, so im hoping that also comes around soon enough (this friday is 2 weeks since the final round so i'll prob follow up then), and try to get goldman to speed up ts
No like literally
Sincerely wish the best for you 🙏hopefully you land one of them
@bold talon @nimble meteor How long did u guys have to wait to get superday after hirevue?
a couple of days
Did any of u interview w NY office?
I did
How was it
It was pretty good tbh
Was it more behavioral or technical?
And if technical do you think neetcode is good enough?
Or is it more OOP
Technical but each round they do ask behavioral
Focus solely on GS tagged leetcode
😭bet
yeah that
both rounds had some coding question but they were like insanely easy questions
they did have some behavioral component too
i also had a sys design question in one of my rounds 😬 only knew that was gonna happen cause of googling online with reddit / glassdoor, so i was at least able to give an okay-ish ans for that
i submitted hirevue on 16th, got superday confirmation on the 21st, superday itself on the 29th
I submitted my hirevue the 26th of October. Then I got my survey the 30th. Then I got superday inv the 5th of November and the super day itself is the 12th of November
yeah
like you dont rly need to go into detail at all, just a high-level explanation of all the components needed for xyz service and then how would scalability work
do y'all know if the goldman hirevue is auto?
i took mine on 13th and havent heard back yet
my timeline was like
- 8/18: applied
- 9/4: received OA
- 9/6: submitted OA
- 10/14: got round 1 hirevue
- 10/16: submitted hirevue
- 10/17: received + submitted follow-up survey
- 10/21: received superday confirmation
- 10/29: superday itself
- now: being edged on decision
I j had behavioral and coding questions. I didnt get a sd idk if thats good or not
