In this market, I would say the best advice is to get “better”. I interviewed with a lot of companies and usually the HMs look for some uniqueness + specialization. Unfortunately, 95-97% students nowadays focused only on full stack. If anyone wants to get better (no need to be totally cracked), try getting some specialization in at least one of the fields (at least have some more knowledge): Distributed System, Cloud Infrastructure, Parallel Computing, Large Scale Backend, or even AI/ML. There is no way you are not getting called if you got some experience. IE: research, open source, unpaid internships etc..
