do your interview performance have to be perfect just had mine and i had a few syntax errors

nah syntax errors is fine, you just need optimal time and space complexity

while being able to explain + do a dry run + ask good clarifying questions

were u able to do a dry run for the final question?

like basically become a human debugger where you trace every variable and how the program runs internally

since u can't run the code, they expect u to run the program by tracing every variable and updating them all line by line

yea i did and then found a bug and i fixed it and reran the dry run

though at the end i didnt have enough time to explain everything i just sorta typing out the dry run output and was like this should work also the interviewer didn't ask for the TC cuz she was like you only have a minute left lol

i thought there was a hiring freeze

but actually if you got the logic right, had the optimal time complexity, did a good dry run, explained your thoughts, i think you actually have really good chances

acc i remember accidentally messing up the space complexity for one of my algorithms cause forgot i made an array deep into the function and the interviewer called me out, but i still got offer
