hard plus i didnt have the right answer i did a recursion based Brute force AF with memoization first time i used factorial in time optimization lol. But it was supposed to be done through some bitwise ops

Well, in this market, I see people doing perfect and still getting rejected

I feel those ppl either perform poorly and think they have performed well esp in behavioral

If you do perfect in tech and behav y would they rej you

Or sometimes the interviewer just doesn’t like you

Do they care about someone having an optimal solution or is it more correctness and communication they care about?

i think depending on interviewer they will give a wieght to 2 things: how will can you think about the problem and code correctness imo, cuz i didnt get optimal but thought through the process brute furced it and said since it is a recursion it can be memoized and knew the time complexity and coded it well and asked frequently on if what im doing make sense or not, he asked for clarification i explained and i would say is there something i can do better or chould i continue
