Next day
Yes and no
They dont come to my school
Beautiful
Thanks
I got ghosted for a week and a half after rd1 and then told them about my ro and that I’d extend it
Yes
JA
Same guy, but my recruiter changed after EM round
Ahhh so I didn’t know my recruiter until after em
I’ve heard of ppl waiting over a month
I couldn’t tell u tbh
Have u done ur superday
Ah
No idea the EM pass rate tbh
Probably stack rank if I were to guess
Don’t quote me tho
Did you finish your intv last Friday?
Thursday
Oh I finished EM last Friday afternoon
lol ur fine
Congrats on your offer tho
I just got letter
@crimson quartz can i dm
Hopefully I see you in nyc
Sure
@crimson quartz dmed you
Does stack rank mean they are looking at interview performance or stats like school and prev exp
Also why does everything think it’s stack rank. Is that not just speculative dooming
That's true.
We should have expedite in the hr round.
Cause even if our EM round went super well, we get ranked.
Don't the ones who expedite, they gets ranked as well?
The fact that ppl get offers fast is evidence against stack rank right, that you can clear a certain threshold and insta get an offer and not be compared against other candidates. I think wait time is just rng, how busy ur interviewers are, when they get around to do a hiring committee etc
No, I think it applied only if you expedite. If you do not expedite then stack rank, if not certain threshold, I believe.
Yehh, cause the hc of stack rank goes lower, cause most people do well on EM.
syndicate emailed to expedite tho
might be tbh
imo it’s a black box and there are way too many variables to know for sure.
When did you take your EM?
last monday
Syndicate case is diff lol
i was told by an engineer at bloomberg that there isn't a stack rank and its just hire/no hire for each round, but who knows atp
BBG in general without expedite takes one week and one day. So for you maybe tomorrow is the day. idk.
hopefully dude
i know they take faster to reject than to give offers so maybe its a good thing that they're taking their time? might just be copium
But my EM mentioned at the end that hr would review all the feedback from your prev rounds, and get back to you soon.
wouldn't they have rejected me if my previous rounds werent solid?
instead of just doing that till the very end
it’s not like tweaking about any of this makes a diff anyway
very true
i just want recruiting to be over with atp
fr
What's your status @glossy umbra
I got em on thurs
I have it in 20 minutes and instead I’m wasting my time on this thread 😹
'in person' means classroom with chromebook lol
Thrusday
yeah bro it’s hard to keep momentum going after months
office interviews/whiteboards would be so much better
they dont want a ngmi breathing the same air im assuming
Do they put everyone to em round?
I am on campus, i take a guess by observe the time slot system
I just feel like, you know, the slots seems really no difference between day1 vo and em
Literary everyone can get a slot
Ok, let me explain this. So if it is an on campus, you simply spread your super day into 3 days (maybe consecutive or maybe not)
And what I found is that, the total number of time slots for candidates to choose, is literally the same from day1 to day3
I mean, if they get everyone a time slots on em, and reject a large bunch of them, that would be a waste of time for most
I don’t know if they reject early or not
i think its like different for onsite and virtual
True! Insightful!
Do you also go to onsite?
No, I am virtual. For virtual they will filter based on feedback after HR, but for onsite they will give HR and EM together
Yep. I will have my em and hr together 1.5 hour in total tmr
But just not sure how many people filtered after tech round
Or there is just no filter all the time
And i think onsite means you will compete in your uni rather than all candiates
make sense
Yeah, but I think this is bad for me
Sure. Just some anxiety
Just finished EM last Friday, same anxiety as you
