  • Instead of bolding individual statistics, I would bold the overall action items for most of your bullet points, like for the second bullet point, who really is gonna benefit when they scan and see 25% bolded? Highlight technologies or basic action parts of a sentence that you accomplished. Individual technologies can be mentioned in your Skills section

  • What's up with <Insert Research Publication>?

  • Why are there no bullet points for the space grant internship?

  • Could you include any links to your projects (Github or on the web?

# lethal river - Instead of bolding individual statistics, I would bold the overall action item...

Thanks for the feedback!

  • I'll update it with the bolding changed and maybe move some of the technologies around.

  • The <Insert> was just me censoring the actual research publication. I do mention it in my actual resume.

  • Tbh, I was gonna add some more but then I ran out of space. The experience didn't seem extremely relevant (not CS, closer to Systems Eng) but I still wanted to mention some research experience. Wasn't sure if it's needed.

  • I'll update my resume to add links! Unfortunately a lot of the pages are down now 😕, but I can still add something for whatever does exist.

I think it's a decent exercise to look at resumes like a recruiter; scan your resume from top to bottom for 10 seconds; if what you bolded (think is most important) doesn't communicate technologies/impact items then it's not super useful imo

I get what you're saying about the space grant intern stuff, but it seems odd to have no bullet points at all for it; i would try to spin one or two bullet points toward CS for it

And links are not end all be all, but being able to see that you've put something out into the world can be cool if you get past recruiting stage and engineers are checking our your resume

Don't think that your resume/experience is lacking; it's super good, but I think that you could benefit from communicating the main desirable skills from each position more succintly, like with the bolding
