#!process manifesting two sum in google

It is their most frequently asked interview question so you never really know
That said tho twosum is so overrated frequency-wise
Ts cannot be the most frequently asked interview question
Idk any mf who got twosum in their interview
im essentially hoping for a graph problem over dp and hopefully not some bullshit like tries or bit manipulation
Potato when “implement autocompletion”
💀
Graph problems can be so annoying tho
i'm lazy so i only practice dp and graph bc i know thats 70% chance i get them
DP is more likely to have a very elegant solution
That’s fair
graph and dp problems always follow the same general pattern
I grinded hard on dp and graphs only to get arrays strings and stacks on google
It’s very rng
idk, mine is week and a half after int invite
@thin spruce how long after your email about passing to r1 did you get the email to schedule the r1?
hmm, i got the email this morning at 4am and haven’t heard since
maybe i should follow up
everyone is already in google proc
Mine was diff
don't worry tacocat
we too will get google proc
OA and/or catalyst R1
coming our way
idc it's google.
as long as I get paid and do SWE for google, idc what the job details are, I'm doing it.
I think it is
I'll just b e goated and match even if it's not guaranteed
Not sure but seems like it
you work on AI systems and infra in the cloud
not sure what specifically they'll have you do, but it's probably p cool
I'd be a lil sad if it's just crud but see above for my thoughts about working at google.
i think it’s guaranteed
no way they are paying ft salary just to let go
that’s true
google and netflix left in faang to reject me
after a process
my speculation is they're not making promises just in case they don't end up having capacity for everyone
but you're right it'd be weird to pay someone a fulltime salary for a year and let them go so easily
unclear
all they mentioned is they're offering like anywhere between 110-170k (I assume TC cause the upper end looks like waaaay too much for entry level base) for the year-long program
locations at Kirkland and Sunnyvale only
LC is like riding a bike dw
just brush the rust off
and you'll be ok
i wonder if it’s better to schedule interview early or later
since early means you get in the process sooner
but risk not being prepared
yea team match hell sorta balances everything out
you can take your time with Google
afaik
some people have asked to interview like a month out for tons of practice time and were hired just fine in the end
yea smth like that
okay that’s good to know, ty
Google's "headcount" is just a hiring freeze where nobody calls to team match
if you're unlucky you could be in a freeze for months at the start of team match
so if you get to team match stage you are guaranteed a spot right, it’s just that it might take months before you find a team and start working
nope
very possible you stay in team match either until you get tired of it and take another offer or you hit the time limit and your recruiter cuts you off
wow that’s crazy
i can’t imagine going thru it all and passing, and not getting a team
why is google the only company that does this team match process
they must be very serious
a handful of companies do, but Google's is just notoriously extreme
yea you're guaranteed to go into a team that you want and that wants you
interesting, so there’s probably a whole process where you have to interview with the team then right?
like the team has to like you too
they had to call multiple people and like you over all of them
and these ‘multiple people’ are people who have passed all the other rounds right
yep
^
things may have changed now but in the past I've heard once you get into team match, you'll make it out with an offer in not too long
it just sounds daunting
but now mighjt be different
it definitely is, my resume is no name internships, granted i am from a t10 school(not t10 in cs), applied late with no referral and i got google oa but i know others with much better prev haven’t yet
there's a lot of talk of people being in team match so long their recruiter closed their application 💀
Google likes taking chances
they're one of the few faang-tier companies where people with no prev often get process
yeah i wonder if they will filter hard after r1 this year, i doubt they want to fly out hella people and reject most of them lol
that’s very very interesting
i wonder why tho
it seems like an ex faang will almost def be more qualified than someone with unheard of companies
people have speculated that they want people whose work and coding philosophies haven't been influenced by other companies so they can be molded into perfect googlers 💀
but idk they just do what they do
lmao
i am not the strongest at lc like i’ve never solved medium tree/heap/dp/dfs/bfs qs
so i wonder if it might be over for me now that im at r1
practice makes perfect
indeed
maybe 2 weeks of practice is enough
i assume they are looking for optimal solutions
as in you can’t pass with suboptimal sol, no matter how good your communication and problem solving is
does google OA have a behavioral questionnaire?
It’s just those xwf sourcers don’t know what they are doing
Imagine you worked so hard in your college years while someone with 0 exp get the process but not you
It is what it is bro chill 💀
This was a thing since before xwf recruiters
And they will make 100+ posts on linkedin or reddit or whatever shi and say they got the offer bc they are very hard working and you should try harder
I can taste the salt from here bro
Yeah because this is unfair
my friend got it on zon interview this year for intern
Oh word?
First time I’ve ever seen that LOL
yeah but he had to optimize two diff ways for space and time but that’s still easy lol
can you share a list of interview questions? I don't have leetcode premium
can u share what type of question you were asked?
dp
its
oa > first rounds(1 tech, 1 behaviour) > second rounds(2 tech) > tm
