ug swe intern
when did you interview?
how were ur intvs and any tips
pretty standard difficulty-wise, lc medium type questions
i was skeptical about the "coding in google docs" thing but i practiced it anyway and i'm glad i did
it was literally a google doc for both interviews where i had to manually tab for spacing and turn off auto-caps ðŸ˜
show up 5 mins early since my interviewer joined the google meet 2 mins early and joked about "extra points for being early" but it gave us extra time to start intros and generally felt like a good starting point for vibes
ymmv obv ^
literally a google document
recruiter’s initials?
no they just pasted a plaintext question, it definitely could've been done on hackerrank, coderpad, etc
do they ask a simple question then expand it after ur done, or is it just 1 question off the bat and they have u try to optimize later
its a google doc with monospace font and syntax highlighting
and yeah it gets treated like a regular textbox so your computer might auto-capitalize or insert a period if theres multiple consecutive spaces
could be either depends on how hard the question is and how long it takes you to solve
who is your recruiter?
bruh im pretty sure youre supposed to use the interview platform 💀
yeah probably
rather not say
which case was urs
all good
my first interview was two questions so no follow ups asked, my second interview was one question with multiple follow ups after (discussion based rather than modifying solution)
modifications to the problem + how would my original solution change to accommodate
