stripe
Stripe’s equity is less liquid and more volatile than bricks
Is data going away? Nope
They have fewer tender offers and buybacks than bricks
Stripe isn’t a guaranteed liquidity event every year while bricks basically is
Plus stripe’s valuation growth hasn’t been as consistent
From 2021-2025, they went from $100B to $50B back to $100B
Plus fintech companies usually aren’t worth over $100b
Unless it’s visa or Mastercard which literally everyone in the world uses
That said either are fine you’re clearly cracked
So go with what u like
Nvidia on top
IMO if you have multiple offers that are about the same, it generally makes sense to not renege even if the other offer is better, since your progression ultimately depends more on what you put in over anything else, and there's always some RNG aspect at any company if you don't know who exactly you're working with from the get go
If there's not a huge advantage from reneging idk if burning the bridge is really worth it
also congrats on RO btw
Yeah not worth burning bridge in this case
You will prolly get promoted in a year or two anyways
databricks mogs
wait why is ur sign on 31k, I got the same offer but 25k sign on 😭
Ah that’s not true
Are u relocating from a different country? I’m relocating from east coast and was only offered 4.5k
A lot of the time ppl like to say that A mogs B or whatever
But honestly most of the time I really don’t think it’s clear cut. You should just work at the company that makes you happy
There’s no way it maintains prestige
I thought u didn’t want to reneg stripe?
Seems like a decent enough reason to
Org matters a lot at larger companies
