#Applied intuition vs db vs potential meta ro
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Im a fall intern working rn
Dont know much about what ill do specifics but it looks interesting regardless
Wanna focus on career growth just not too sure what the best starting point would be
Welp mix of both right? I wanna work on actually interesting projects but also grow in terms of role so i eventually have larger scope and impact
Recruiter sent the linkedin of the director dont know if its useful to share here
Whats ur meta team
Also check dmd u the LinkedIn
Just go to bricks
Reasoning?
bricky brick pays the most out of these companies
Applied intuition stock isn’t gonna be liquid anytime soon
True but im assuming with promos it evens out in the longer run
At least when compared to meta
Meta offer is just gonna be the standard like $225K TC package for new grad
Sure
I think meta vs db is very close but not sure why applied intuition is even in this poll
they’re tackling a cool problem but really not sure how viable they are considering who are their competitors
I see, tbh only reason is because vehicle os looked dope so i interviewed anyways like their projects w porsche and other companies look interesting
I see
I guess
Im a fall intern
Icic
Yea I mean ur gonna have to accept bricks rn anyway right
you’ll prob get the meta offer but I’m not sure bricks is really worth reneging
Yea i have to sign between bricks and applied rn
One of the two
def not applied
bricks
cool startup but equity is toilet paper
heard the culture is cooked too
Sounds so counter intuivite cause the entire selling point of a startup is high quality of engineering
💀
The selling point of a startup is the talent density
Engineering quality is typically trash
That sounds like cluely typa marketing “we only hire cracked ppl”
Cluely is mid af
databricks > meta > applied
I see
It’s more so like bricks === meta. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> applied
God damn
If u just want to use your applied equity to wipe your ass then go with them
i've dealt with applied myself, cash is a lowball for the amount of work they expect
Otherwise stick with bricks
Yea not a big fan of 50 hr culture
wouldnt call databricks or meta easy either but it should be easier
It’s cuz the “equity is what matters” 🥴
50 hr isn’t crazy tho
As long as u have weekends
Yea it isnt crazy but if recruiter says it my guess is thats the bare minimum so realistically its prolly more than that
Prob
it is higher in practice
PyTorch Triton top
anything else
bottom
maybeee product teams could be top if you like that
Wb feed rankings infra where does it go in this list
Cpp monkey
when will we learn to stop over-indexing on marginal amts of $ for early-career
money will come
anyways, db mogs
I’m right tho for applied
Yay we agree on something tuff
