I interviewed with two teams. One hiring manager was very impressed with my performance and passed me to the backend team because they had some other options. While all the rounds were successful, they ultimately couldn't proceed due to my work authorization requirements. I already informed them that I can work on OPT for 3yrs.

In the JD, they mentioned that they wouldn't sponsor, but they kept on interviewing me and gave me hopes. It seems like this new 100k H1B rule impacted my chance. It's ok it's my bad luck, it's like interview practice for me.
