thank you!
Any tips for behavior
STAR method ofc, just have 5 stories in advance that can cover a broad range of things companies typically ask (look up like "top 15 most asked behavioral interview questions"). Also, be relatively social/look like you have passion for the field
what role?
or team
also how long did you have to wait after vo... and did you get status update or direct email for offer
Lowkey 20 minutes of my first interview (for whenevr I was interviewing for internship last year) was literally just talking about the industry and what interesting things there are to do
Full stack
Azure C+E or C+E as a whole
vo?
Im a returning intern
Oh, virtual
For how long I waited, I think I interviewed on a Wednesday, then heard back two mondays after (like 10 days)
Seems pretty consistent
My interviewer literally added me on linkedin 4 hours after my interview and I got the email in my inbox two Mondays after
congrats man! btw does ms hire throughout the year or is it done for now (intern/newgrad)
Seems to be throughout the year
For NG.. not sure tbh
They tell u if rejected
If ur waiting more than 2 weeks there's a good chance, but they could be waiting to team match just in case?
hello retloc
Why hello bestchickenever
I have not looked at this discord in over a year lol
Then with all the process memes I was seeing I decided to stop by
ur gmi bro
whend ur internship end? aug15?
I had my oa in end of july, didn't hear back till end of sept
Lol when I applied to msft internship it legit took 2 months to hear back I think
oh so u didnt get offer rn, just posted rn?
Well, I got the adjusted offer after negotiations yesterday
Felt like there was a 2% chance my offer would be rescinded
so didnt want to celebrate quite yet
location?
tc?
redmond, wa
$181.7k
is that fy or recurring? r u gonna nego
already negotiated to that. Will be first year because of signing bonus, but I expect it to be around there after the first year since u on average get 10% bonus (I didnt count that) + more stock awarded every year and fast promotions given the nature of the levels at Microsoft
are you 59 or 60?
59
thats pretty high for 59. I was looking at posts it seems you get to 60 within a year
what was it before negotiation?
intern -> FTE is pretty lucrative
especially in terms of stock
and signing bonus
L59 and still L59 after negotiation (I didnt ask for L60 lol)
And yes L60 can even be done in 6 months lol
L60 aint hard
congrats! this is for internship right?
Hey can you check your dm? I have mine scheduled for next week
