which role is it for? and when did you apply?
Job id is 1876157.
Applied on Sep 19 got email on 21, finished on 22, yesterday went up to the job portal and the status was updated on 24, don't know what that means tho. It's still in the active list
@whole lance same, did oa recently and it got updated but no interview, still active tho
Did you apply with a referral?
No, I just mass applied to like 30+ roles and this is by far the first one I've ever heard back. I even knew someone from Microsoft and they are hiring on their team. They even told me some of the words that they filter on the resume. Still nothing lol.
I have been applying a lot as well
But no OAs so far
Words you said š¤
Are these more tech terms or action verbs they look for?
tech terms. It really just depends. I read somewhere that the questions that some of the Microsoft team ask even in an interview can be different with their JD. Like ask some frontend questions for a seemingly backend role according to JD.
Oh cool
Thanks
Problem is that they do only allow one resume for entire profile
Had to optimize it to its fullest so it is good enough for most of the postings
Same to everything here except diff job ID
Yeah I dunno if I should email them cuz I'm just kinda anxious after getting waitlisted by Amazon. I just need a fricking jobš¤
lol im also waitlisted
Wait I just apply with different resume every time. So every time I change my resume for a new app it changes every other apps? That would be too weird bruh.
Ehh
I think so no?
Or does it keep that one attached to your application
No idea. Might try that as well now I guess
Will you marry me? We're made for each other.
when did u do interview?
whats ur role ? r u azure, fullstack, aiml?
just swe on partner team
Any chance you got rejected for a few roles before getting OA?
Early this month
Oh tons of, but I have only seriously applied to Microsoft for the past week lol.
Oh no, I meant for microsoft roles reject itself
for one pipeline (redmond), i heard back the day after and the other (remote), about 2 days after
good luck!
Was this recent?
i interviewed october of last year
so no
but the recruiters havenāt gotten laid off (as far as iām aware) so their timelines should be similar
i assume it depends on how fast the hm in charge of the posting takes to review resumes post oa
but given job postings are team specific it makes sense they go fast
for university recruiting there arenāt hm involved until post offer, itās org wide that they hire and then you go into a pool, but i didnāt read that they applied to a specific role so thatās different nvm
o interesting, most jobs looks like specific postings?
like "new grad" jobs still seem to have a team tied to them in the description
those are level 60 roles that some recruiters/hm call ānew gradā
you usually need a lot of internship experiences and/or a masters degree for L60, at least from what i gather and also varies in the org
L59 is the standard new grad level
also if u dont mind me asking do u know if azure roles will still be remote
post rto announcement
iām not in azure so i genuinely donāt know
nwnw
I could tell you that the role I did the OA for is for Azure and is remote. But it could all just not align so whatever.
Thanks š
hey can you check your dm
Shit youāre in mfst thatās cool!
I think this year they slow since ik few others have been waiting since a month
Did you guys interviewed already? Waiting for feedback?
did you pass all the test cases for bothh the questions?
Waiting for interviews to get scheduled
Cool atb!
How long did you get an update after VO? I just had mine today.
what role?
Ai/ml
like two to three days but i expedited it
How long it took for recruiter to respond after OA?
2 months
but I'm pretty sure its just because the team finally got time to interview me.
