Atlassian (SF):
Pros:
• Can go remote after 1 year in SF, I’d like some flexibility with location for the first few years so this is a big plus for me
• Interned there this summer and was pretty chill wlb wise
Cons:
• Performance reviews every 6 months with people around 5% getting pip’d
SpaceX (Hawthorne, CA):
Pros:
• More interesting work, would be working with StarShield team probably in C++
• I’ve always been into aerospace so I’m passionate about the work they do
Cons:
• Notoriously bad wlb with lots of hours and working weekends
• Is fully RTO in Hawthorne
• Slightly less TC than Atlassian
• Might also pip? Not too sure about this
Primarily looking to get the most career growth. Not sure which has better resume value, also not sure if it’s worth it to take SpaceX even if it’s cooler work due to WLB and location reasons. TC is basically what’s on levels. (Also this is kind of a repost but I wanted to see results without Bloomberg)
