Boa no wonder quant
wow

If u didn’t get rej yet then they might still send interview
Headstarters Weakest Warrior Getting Cooked
Oh wait @urban vine what fellowship did u do?
ghost < rejection cause at least they looked at it
ghost means it wasnt even up for consideration in most cases
also a lot of applicants get 100% on OAs now, i wouldnt consider that to be the bar for a callback
reading the rest of this thread though, they might just be taking their time, no need to worry in advance lol
pltr + big tech, youre in a really good spot as rising junior
Yea you’re fine boa
research exp is solid too, interesting projects, overall solid. fellowship idk the details, but unless it involved something directly useful i'd prob leave it? maybe one bullet?
Did u get ro or nah
What’s the company 😓
icic
yeah tbh if its pltr level, two internships in that tier + research exp as rising junior
youre gonna be chilling
respect no worries
eh, if you have metrics to include i'd say it doesn't hurt, bullets kind of describe what you built and what you used but not an impact
research exp you quantify well
the big tech internship not as much minus the last bullet - "run simulations without AWS permissions..."
dont try to plug a number or stat into like every line, its readable and clear rn which is also good. you're coasting rn though, good shit
idk how ur getting ghosted/rejected but ur competent
what i noticed with your projects is that they don’t seem to be in production
No one gaf abt projects tbh
says who? you?
Especially if I’m seeing Palantir and big tech why would I care abt the projects
yea says me
I have no projs on my resume
Hell nah
so larping?
how’s that larping
idk that’s kinda the vibe im getting outta this
being an idiot working in big name company sounds off
you just need good communication skills
Exactly why cs is lowkey a rng degree
deadass applying for jobs is like trying to win the lotto
says me asw literally doesnt matter
most recruiters can't tell if ur proj was made in a day with gpt or if it was a months long endeavor
you can put the timeline. and i am against people who make projects just to pad on their resume. having projects with long term work are better than one day vibe coded ones that are rushed.
won’t matter if you have a lot of work experience. i’m speaking for those who don’t have experience and use projects to compensate for that
maybe, it kinda just depends on how well u can talk it up
tbh i think if u just have projs it's going to be super difficult to get intvs at big names anyways unless u go to a top school or smth
better off doing any random exp and then putting that on res
starting off is the most difficult part imo
nah don’t replace ur shit experience for a project
experience > projects
Hurts my feelings
