@lavish trout can you roast my ngmi resume 😦
Brother why me
cuz I saw you actively gave out comments 😦
Finna retire 🥀
Project is insane, coursework from MIT and Stanford so prob a T10-20 school, gtfo with that title
Research, startup experience, good project. You need a big name and you’ll be like top 5%
As a rising junior too
Small note id get rid of the arrow symbol in your bullet point about reducing latency, you can easily just say Xms to Yms
But yeah you’re nuts, metrics about impact on a software level as well as regarding users
Larping ngmi is insane
Your exp leans towards infra and backend, with a bit of machine learning. I’d consider more research in ML if you’re aiming for it
my coursework is online coursework
I'm aiming for backend role at big tech
thank you
@livid forum can you post your resume
@rose hound
im actually kinda curious, how much is that project costing you to host (if theres any users) or how much did it cost to develop
i made a similar one eventually just took it down after recording a demo of me using it
so we have like 30 APIS, and we are using free plan for everything
we are about to raise for the seed round to release it
so we don't have any users now
Fed
gotcha
and some others
trying to go startup angle? or just independent platform
startup
but this one is from the whole team
would you let users like plug their own API keys for more premium data sources?
ah gotcha
if we can raise funds, we will buy premium APIs
so the project is from one of your internships?
i mean you could just charge the user the cost
yeah absolutely
payment -> create a new key -> feeds into user's json or however you store profile data and enables the API
one key would get throttled so quick with any user base with how the latency would be for a trading system
never though of it
we just thought that we will buy all the premium apis and then give it to users
you give me the ideas bro
cant tell if this is sarcasm lol
nah
that api would get throttled in minutes w anything comparable to a quant platform
you are right
funny too cause i was working w a startup that was doing something v similar
east
sure
