#Want a Summer 26 FAANG internship; what do I change?

RPI go hard
A lot of my projects are semester-length group projects that I lead, done for credit. Would it be misleading to count them in experiences?
Or should I add a section under Experience about my time as a project lead?
I’d look more into reworking bullet points
esp for your actual experiences since there’s no metrics and what you’ve done seems kinda bland
ie. “Twitter bot that responds to user mentions with OpenAI API” is a bullet that makes no sense
did you make this bot? What tech stack? what benefit did it provide?
And that pattern is pretty consistent across all your bullets
look into the “XYZ method”
Should help you a lot
If you gotta lie a little, go for it
beyond that, do you think there's anything missing from it? How could I farm an experience during school?
RCOS itself is already good enough. The only “real” way to farm it imo is to go to ibm project
You prob won’t do as much but it’s an ez name for an experience if you just say you’re an open source dev
Here's a more verbose one. 500+ compared to 389 before
^^ I also condensed/eliminated some fluff while expanding my 2 best projects and my internship experience
i dont think it is a good idea to put Project lead and Sr dev for academia lvl project (just my take)
If it matters, it’s an actual assigned role. My school runs an open source class with 500+ members, and project leads take on responsibilities such as recruiting contributors, organizing/directing your team, and other managerial duties
I agree on the Sr. Dev thing; I was a cofounder of the project and mentored multiple ppl in express / database design so I didn’t know how else to squeeze that in
