Swea in the hardware orgs/ hardware related teams often undervalued. It’s not easy for swe in hardware focused team to promote/progress

Os org is called Software Org
Software such as apple pay, icloud, weather, stock, new, apple tv are in Service Org
The others are mostly hardware

So saying service org meh is not true imo. Depend on your tech stack, for general swe, service org is way better than the hardware related org
