spam email is not the problem, i got more than 20 interviews through massive emailing. as long as you are honest, show the interest, be concise, find the right person, it is fine.

for everyone who want to do cold emailing, my suggestion would always be try as hard as you can, and write all your info within 4 or 5 sentences, no one has time to read a long paragraph.

and if you don't receive the reply, try followup after 4 or 5 days, if still not reply, try followup again.

if followup 3 times, still not reply, just move on.
