Format feedback:

  • Would suggest you look for online templates (a lot of good examples in this channel). The most important things are:
  1. Remove color
  2. Format your coursework better (maybe just list them like X, Y, Z) so scanners can read it
  3. Consistent tabspace for bullet points
  4. Consistent whitespace -> For example, the white space between the last bulletpoint in awards and activities, and "Eagle Scout" is smaller than the white space between "Breathe-N Sync" and its own bulletpoints

Content feedback:

  • Lead all bulletpoints with an action word, not a adverb (e.g. independently)
  • Reformat bulletpoints to: [Action word] [Result/impact of your work] by [How you did it/using what tools or techniques] -> This makes your bulletpoints clearer on your impact
  • Good experience, but would try to eliminate awards & activities or change it to projects, and spin the content to sound like a "project" rather than "activity" (a lot of cs resumes don't include a whole activities section, but rather a project section)

Okay okay thanks so much, also Breathe N Sync and Eagle Scout is mostly unrelated to computer science should that be something i think about removing for something else down the line or worth keeping on?
